Every night temo ser la diner was awarded with the first prize in the international mock up competition called by La Fábrica. The bokk was selected among 300 national and international projects. Sofia Ayarzagoitia builts in her first book a photographic journals which records her meetings with eleven men in Madrid during 2015 and 2016
Sofía Ayarzagoitia (Monterrey, Mexico, 1987) studied the European Author Photography Master at IED Madrid (Instituto Europeo di Design) with Ricardo Cases and Moritz Neumüller among other teachers.
She received a scholarship from the CAU Seoul (Chung Ang University, Seoul). In 2014 with Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris she attended the workshop Magnum Masterclass Finding your light in Poland. She was selected to attend the Program of Contemporary Photography 2013 in Monterrey, directed by Javier RamírezLimón. In 2012 she was selected for the scholarship Intercultural LCI (Lasalle College International)
She has participated in several collective exhibitions. Her work has been selected to be part of the Talent Issue of Foam Magazine, an international platform international which recognized the talent of emerging photographers.
