A jury of experts chooses the gallery that has shown the best exhibition in the Festival Off. Last year’s winner was the exhibition of Angelica Dass, Humanæ hosted by Max Estrella Gallery.
Anarcho-primitivism advocates a return to noncivilised ways of life through deindustrialisation. One of its leading early exponents was Henry David Thoreau, the inspiration behind this project by Manolo Bautista (Córdoba, 1974). The project seeks to confront the viewer with Thoreau’s original idea, offering – through photography and found objects – new ways of visualising it, interpretations of an individual vision that is close to nature and its various elements.
