La Fábrica publishes William Eggleston. Portraits, a volume collecting the best portraits of the artist from the sixties to the present day.
Mythical mythical and unpublished portraits gathered in an edition that includes an introduction by Sofia Coppola, a text by the curator Phillip Prodger and a conversation with the own photographer
The publication of the book coincides with the first monographic exhibition dedicated to Eggleston´s portraits at the National Portrait Gallery of London
Portrait offers through images and words, the opportunity to dive in the work of Eggleston and delve into the creative process of this great artist, whose photogrpahs have inspired filmmakers like David Lynch or the own Sofia Coppola.
The work includes images in white and black of 60s in which Eggleston seems to «stalk» his objectives. Besides there are several portraits in colour, with revolutionary compositions.
