Gregory Crewdson

The exhibition will be composed by three high format photographs to great scale of his recent Beneath the Roses. Likewise, 15 pictures of his productions stills made between 2006 and 2007 will be included.

His work is recognized by its surrealist scenes of the homes and American neighbourhoods. His photographs are characterized by remote captures, instants of what the spectator supposes a narration, but in which it is impossible to guess the development of the action. The influence of the film director David Lynch remains patent in the majority of its images, as well as those of Edward Hopper, Diane Arbus, William Eggleston and Alfred Hitchcock.
