A lot of films in a short time is the motto of a festival that has pioneered the use of the Internet as a platform for the promotion of new film talent, with 44 million spectators and more than 11,000 short films presented in competition since its launch
The jury for the festival’s 13th edition will consist of Fernando Franco, president, and Ernesto Sevilla, Emma Suárez, Julio de la Rosa, Montxo Armendáriz, Jonás Trueba and festival founder, Javier Fesser
Paramount Channel is sponsoring the Tu vida pide cine (You Need Movies in Your Life) Award for Best Remake, which will recognize the best freely adapted versions of history’s most acclaimed movies with a prizes totaling 1,500 €
Canal + joins the festival with the Canal + #AbusaDeTuImaginación (ExploitYourImagination) Prize, worth 1,500 €, for the short that most successfully develops a story from a predetermined beginning provided to contestants
The Community of Madrid Film School (ECAM), will expand its collaboration with the festival by helping organize the NotodofilmSchool workshops and the Best Director award
In addition, the JamesonNotodofilmfest will present for the first time the Mobile Prize for promoting the use of new mobile technologies, demonstrating its commitment to quality regardless of format
The festival will conclude with the JamesonNotodofilmfest Weekend, four days of films, workshops, encounters and professional events at the Cineteca of the Matadero cultural center in Madrid, on June 12, 13, 14 and 15, 2015
Participants may present their stories lasting a maximum of 3½ minutes before February 10, competing for the 47,000 € in prizes
The festival is organizing the NotodofilmSchool, a yearly program of workshops presented by professionals aimed at offering new techniques and practices for those just starting out in the movie industry
JamesonStudio will once again feature exclusive showings and encounters aimed at all lovers of cinema. Javier Fesser and Luis Manso will inaugurate the season on November 28, coinciding with the opening of their film Mortadelo y Filemón contra Jimmy El Cachondo
