Like many other artists, photography is a tool that has accompanied Eduardo Arroyo over several decades of activity, since he started working with it in the mid-seventies of the twentieth century.
The exhibition Photographic Narratives of Eduardo Arroyo brings together photographic works in which he has worked with photography, he paintins them, he draws on them, he manipulates them, either creating collages, juxtaposing pieces or mixing them with drawings or paintings.
Since most of them are unpublished, the exhibition will discover an unknown part of the creative journey of the painter-writer-designer Eduardo Arroyo and how photography has been a key part of his work, even if he has never used a photograph taken by him. The photographs used are from family photo albums, second hand albums or newspapers…
