In the works from Lalibela by Cristina García Rodero, we can observe the beauty and singularity of Medieval churches, the landscapes, and the rocks, as well as the richness of the ceremonies and rituals that are celebrated there. Her photographs introduce us to a symbolic journey through this holy land, this Biblical city located thousands of kilometers from Jerusalem, where scenes resound as if they came directly from the New Testament. Cristina García Rodero´s images transport us to the city of Lalibela, where time seems to have stopped in order to submerge us in their rituals and ceremonies of a Biblical time that we thought we had lost.
