Félix Curto (Salamanca, Spain, 1967.) The series Menonitas by Félix Curto (recently awarded the Pilar Citoler International Contemporary Photography Prize) is the fruit of the time he spent living alongside members of this community in Guatraché, in the Argentine Pampa. Félix Curto previously lived and worked in Mexico City. A fine arts graduate from the Universidad de Salamanca, he has also undertaken postgraduate courses at the Kunsthochschule in Berlin and at the Escuela Nacional Autónoma in Mexico City. He has held solo shows at several venues, including the Nicolo Sprovieri Gallery in London and the Galería OMR in Mexico City, (2006); La Fábrica Galería, Madrid (2005 y 2008); the Centro de Fotografía, Universidad de Salamanca (2003) and the Palacio de Abrantes, Universidad de Salamanca (2002).
